WHY ARE WE CONCERNED WITH EMF & RF ENERGY?

We find our modern world is continually bombarding us with energy from multiple sources. As technology continues to advance, so too does the type of power and possible ramifications of exposure to this energy. Understanding the conditions of your local environment can help alleviate some of these concerns.

WHAT DO WE DO?

At Treadway LTD we offer full range RF and EMF testing. This testing allows us to provide fixed data that can be used to evaluate commercial and residential locations for the presence of RF and EMF energy. This evaluation can show areas which may be outside of established energy guidelines. Using this data, we can provide analysis and recommendation to minimize exposures to these possible higher levels.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

To conduct the study, we break down the location into a grid pattern and take measurements along fixed intervals.  These intervals are notated and the resulting measurements are rendered into a data map showing the energy concentrations at specific locations.

Using this data, we can identify areas of potential concern and make recommendations for energy reduction protocols.

WHAT DOES THIS DATA MEAN?

The data gathered from this analysis is compared to the standards established through testing by the international sanctioning body, International Committee on Electromagnetic Safety (ICES)

We rely on the ICES for the exposure standards. They are the standard-setting group of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), tasked with creating their human exposure guidelines with respect to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation. The IEEE standard is used extensively around the world, and is congruent with the FCC/OSHA standard in the portion of the spectrum enforced by that governmental body. The standard is based on an extensive (and on-going) analysis of peer-reviewed scientific studies of the biological effects of acute and chronic exposure of cells, tissues and organisms to such fields.
